FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. What is Akidemy UK’s coaching philosophy?
At Akidemy UK, our philosophy focuses on individual personal development with ball mastery at the heart of everything we do.
We believe that football at this age should be about fun, confidence, and creativity — helping each child build the skills and mindset to enjoy the game for life.

2. What age groups do you coach?
We work with children aged 3 to 8 years old, focusing on early development through fun, engaging, and age-appropriate football activities.

3. What is ball mastery and why is it important?
Ball mastery means helping each child become confident and comfortable with the ball at their feet.
Through repetition, fun games, and challenges, we build the foundation for all football skills — control, dribbling, coordination, and creativity.
When children master the ball, they gain the freedom to express themselves on the pitch.
4. Are sessions focused on competition or development?
Our sessions are focused on development, not competition.
We encourage teamwork and friendly play, but the emphasis is always on learning, fun, and personal progress — not winning.

5. What can my child expect from a typical session?
Each session is full of energy, movement, and imagination!
We use fun-based activities and themed games to teach football skills while keeping children engaged.
Every session includes:
-
Ball mastery and movement challenges
-
Small-sided fun games
-
Positive encouragement and teamwork
-
Smiles, laughter, and lots of touches on the ball

6. What skills will my child develop?
Children develop both football skills and life skills, including:
-
Ball control, dribbling, balance, and coordination
-
Confidence and self-belief
-
Listening, teamwork, and communication
-
Resilience and problem-solving

7. Who are the coaches?
Our coaches are FA-qualified, experienced with young children, and passionate about developing players in a positive and nurturing environment.
They act as mentors and role models, helping each child grow both as a player and as a person.
8. What should my child bring to sessions?
-
Comfortable sportswear and trainers or football boots
-
A drink of water
-
A smile and a positive attitude!
9. Do you run trials or can anyone join?
Everyone is welcome!
We believe every child deserves the chance to experience the joy of football. No trials are required — we simply encourage effort, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
10. How do you measure progress?
Progress is personal and individual — not compared to others.
We celebrate small wins: better ball control, improved confidence, trying a new skill, or simply enjoying the game more each week.
